Digitalising urban waters: lessons learnt from the cities of Berlin, Copenhagen, Milan, Paris and Sofia

Join the online final conference of digital-water.city “Digitalising urban waters: lessons learnt from the cities of Berlin, Copenhagen, Milan, Paris and Sofia” on 18 November 2022 from 9h to 12h30 CET time.

digital-water.city is an European project (H2020) aimed at showing the potential of digitalisation of the water sector. Over 4 years, DWC has developed and brought to the market more than 15 digital solutions addressing key challenges that water and sewer utilities face. As DWC is now reaching its end, this event aims to highlight the lessons learnt from each of the demonstration cities that took part in the project: Berlin, Copenhagen, Milan, Paris, and Sofia.

In a nutshell, we will summarise the key outcomes of the project:

  • An overview of promising digital water innovations and the  benefits achieved in our five city partners. Learn how Paris is harnessing the potential of new sensors and machine learning to open its rivers to swimmers or how Berlin uses augmented reality to make groundwater visible to the public.
  • A return on experience from our utilities regarding the challenges linked to the uptake of digital solutions and a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Our recommendations to policy makers to tackle the current policy gaps and foster the digitalisation of the European water sector.

Find on our website the preliminary program and save the date by registering to the event; and finally feel free to spread the word forwarding this invitation to your colleagues and networks.
