Help bring the urban water cycle to LEGO

Water news

What happens to water before it reaches your tap, and where does it go afterwards?

A new LEGO Ideas project brings the urban water cycle to life, showing how water moves from a natural source through intake, treatment, distribution, storage and use, before being collected, treated and returned to the environment.

The model also shines a light on the complex infrastructure and the people who keep water and wastewater services running reliably 24/7. Its seven minifigures represent just some of the many professions involved, from engineers and laboratory analysts to treatment plant operators, maintenance teams and leak detection specialists.

Built using 4,808 LEGO pieces, the detailed model can be used as a display piece or as an engaging way for children and adults to learn about the urban water cycle and the people behind it.

The project is now looking for support on LEGO Ideas. If you like the idea, please support it and share it with your colleagues and networks.
