The Water Economy Forum is celebrating a new edition, on April 5, 2017. This time we will be in Barcelona, in the wonderful space of the Modernist Precinct of Sant Pau, located in Carrer Sant Antoni María Claret 167 of the City of Barcelona.
In this opportunity we will be accompanied by outstanding national and international experts who, as in the previous editions, will offer us, from a multidisciplinary perspective and from their different professional backgrounds, their knowledge about the challenges facing the resource.
We will have the presence of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Mohan Munasinghe, who will talk about water from the point of view of climate change and sustainability. They will be followed by Aziza Akhmouch and Gonzalo Delacámara, who will discuss the social and water governance challenges, and will close the morning Francesc Trillas, Jaime Melo Baptista and Alena Kozakova talking about regulation in water and sanitation services.
After a small cocktail, we will have Peter Gammeltoft and Francisco Nunes Correia, at a table where we will talk about the coordination of water service management policies. Then the famous architect Luis Vidal will speak to us about the sustainability of the cities and we will close our program with Jean Tirole, Nobel Prize of Economy of 2014, in an interesting presentation on the challenges of public policies for the 21st century.
We hope to have your participation in this unique occasion for the debate and the exchange of knowledge on a theme of global priority.
